Ed Cliff has been using Amazon's e-Book readers (Kindle 1 and Kindle 2) for about a year. He will share his experience with this amazing device that can download books wirelessly in under 60 seconds with no PC required. Or from your PC to the Kindle or to your iPhone. He will also briefly review other e-book readers currently or soon to be available. Come learn about these electronic readers. They allow you to read your downloaded books anywhere, conveniently. There are over 350,000 books available.

On Monday, October 19th, 2009 Ed made the following presentation. Since it is in a PowerPoint Show 2003 format, you will need to have either the PowerPoint application on your computer, or you can download a free PowerPoint Viewer from Microsoft. you can use your arrow keys to step through the slides at your own pace.

Ed, thanx for an informative session on the Kindle. It has helped me understand more about the device and other e-readers. Good questions from the attendees . . . good answers from you. . . ;-} j :ugeek:

Just a note . . . if you do not have or do not want Microsoft's PowerPoint viewer, you can use Open Office' Impress application to view the PowerPoint show. I use it on my system as the default viewer for PowerPoint presentations as it takes much less time to load. I try to avoid loading any MS Office apps unless I absolutely have to . . . just an alternative . . . not THE answer. . . ;-} jolyn :ugeek:
